Exam Rank Check (“we”, “us”) provides free marks and rank prediction calculators for SSC, RRB, and related government exams. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our calculators, how it’s stored, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

When you use a calculator on this site, we store:

• Exam-related inputs you submit, such as your answer key responses, category (UR/OBC/EWS/SC/ST), state, and calculated marks.
• Any identifying details present in the answer key URL you paste (for example, a roll number embedded in the official exam board’s link).

This data is stored in our database and used solely to generate your scorecard, to build aggregate rank/normalization estimates across users of the same exam and shift, and to improve the accuracy of our calculators over time. We do not sell this data or share it with third-party marketing or data-broker companies.

2. Automatically Collected Information

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information — IP address, browser type, and timestamps — for security and abuse-prevention purposes. We don’t use these logs to individually identify visitors.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic and usage patterns (e.g. which calculators are most used, general geographic/device breakdowns). Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data per Google’s own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. We do not currently run ad networks (e.g. AdSense) on this site; if that changes, we’ll update this policy.

4. Data Storage & Security

Submitted exam data is stored in our backend database. We take reasonable technical measures to protect it, but no online system is 100% secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security. We retain data for as long as needed to provide rank comparisons for the relevant exam cycle, after which it may be periodically cleared.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your stored data at any time by contacting us at the email below or through our Contact page. We’ll act on verified deletion requests promptly.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our calculators are intended for exam aspirants generally aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us so we can remove it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date above.
