- Mathematics (30 Questions): Number Systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM/HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple/Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Elementary Statistics.
- General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 Questions): Analogies, Series (Alphabetical/Number), Coding-Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Relationships, Syllogisms, Venn Diagrams, Data Interpretation, and Decision Making.

Yes, an indemnity bond is typically required covering the cost of training if you leave within a specified period.
Is there departmental promotion?
Yes, JEs can be promoted to Senior Section Engineer (SSE) and later to Gazetted roles through departmental exams (LDCE).
Can final-year students apply?
No. Candidates must possess the required degree/diploma by the closing date of application (13 September 2026). Final-year students awaiting results on that date are not eligible under CEN 04/2026.
Is there normalization in CBT?
